these are snippets of an email correspondence between myself and the professor who runs the program i am trying to graduate from.

me: I’m in the BFA program with the film students but will be needing space in the gallery to present.
professor: Talk to Tony - he’s coordinating space for the film makers.
me: I’m a fine arts major though, so I’ll need a different set up than they will.
professor: Are you an MA student?  Or BA?  I’m coordinating BFA in studio students only.  If you’re concentrating in Film then Tony is your man.
me: yes I’m in the bfa program but I am a fine arts major sitting in on the film class. my major is graphic design and my project is print.
professor: Well you’re welcome to show with us but you’ll be the only filmmaker.
me: I’m not a film maker, I’m a graphic design major.

are you kidding me?
i’d also like to mention that i have met with this woman numerous times already.

this is why people think college is a joke.
