this website (found via equalitymyth) is both awesome and extremely saddening. if you’re in the NYC area and have been assaulted, harassed or what-ever, you can submit your story + notes about the perv and a photo/video if you have one. if you’re not in the nyc area, there are sister organizations made for other major cities.

reading the stories is sad enough as it is, even sadder is reading about the police responses to most of these reports. the saddest? the lack of intervening or action from other passengers/nearby strangers. this is horrifying.
