this is an absolutely fascinating read, going on a theory of overall sensitivity. it makes perfect sense, to me at least. it almost felt like this article was written for me, i was totally that kind of kid.

for a working example, jared has successfully scared me multiple times while i was in the process of trying to scare him. usually by accident, on his part. i couldn’t make this stuff up if i tried.
