littlebooks
little 16pg booklets with mixed paper:

fold eight sheets of paper in half, add a thicker cover sheet if you want. poke three holes through the crease and sew with linen thread. waxing the thread helps. start with the middle hole, from the outside and sew in a figure eight pattern. finish with the thread where you started and tie a cute bow or something. then smush ‘em in a bookpress or under some heavy things overnight.

handmade press made by an awesome girl in my bookarts class for ten bucks. she made them for everyone! this PDF includes instructions for something similar.
