her basement flooded this weekend

my mom is so awesome:

OMG, I read on Wiki How how to get rid of an odor in a damp basement and it said to put charcoal briquettes, like the ones for the barbeque, in a container and leave in the basement. I put two containers filled with the briquettes.

I had them from when I bought that barbeque grill last summer and it worked!! This morning, the smell is much better.

I can’t believe the wealth of information that is available on the internet.
