this is from a member of the staff regarding a recent incident with subdomain ownership. it is not an official staff post. you can read all the drama by following the link, but the tone of this ‘response’ is what is really bothering me. it’s just plain arrogant and rude. (and honestly, i’m not sold)
i love tumblr’s platform. i love praising it to new clients and confused art students, but i don’t know. this bothers me. both the link and the whole issue entirely. i need some kind of explanation of what happened, not a snarky, defensive reblog.
update: as of september 29th, 2011 it seems meaghan deleted the original post, but the comments are still up. not sure what that’s about, but anyway you can read the original post here.
it’s interesting that this is gone now, given the amount of reblogs i can’t imagine she thinks it will disappear from the internet. but perhaps meaghan has realized that it was an inappropriate way to respond? updating a post and apologizing is nice, too :)
