i kind of like when everything is wet, during or after a rainstorm. the world is shades of dirty, gray and mud.

someone i knew a long time ago said that he thought everything looked more real when it was raining.

also, in high school, i LOVED walking home in the rain. i would just wear flip flops, take off my glasses and let myself get soaked while i walked through a very blurry, weird world. and i always told myself that if i was ever annoyed by the rain, or let it affect my mood- something was wrong. rather, a change was happening in me that i didn’t want to happen. i still use this as a rough guide to how i am reacting to things far out of my control.
