user interface victory
standing in line at union square, waiting to fill up my metrocard, i had an awesome victory.
there were two ladies in front of me. the first one started hitting buttons on the screen really fast, got aggravated, and walked away from the ‘frozen’ screen.
the lady behind her walked up to the screen that was still frozen from the previous transaction. (it was where you enter the dollar amount that you want to put on your card) without starting over, she too, started hitting buttons really quickly and gave up in about 10 seconds.
i walked up, gently touched the ‘cancel’ button, and successfully completed my transaction.
so much fail in so few seconds.
