this is the coolest app for the iphone, hands down. knitbuddy is a database for yarn, hooks, needles and projects. you can assign yarn and notions to active projects, and it lets you take photos. holy crap.
the yarn database is probably the most badass, because you can take a picture, note the color + dye lot, number of skeins in your inventory and yardage/weight per skein. (so it’s really easy to grab a matching dye lot if you’re out and have a yarn emergency!)
words cannot communicate my excitement over this.
