the new njtransit trains are absolutely ideal for holding my yarn-bag while i crochet! (they put a purse hook on the back of the seats)
tip: ball of yarn + drawstring bag = super easy knitting/crocheting on the go. tighten the drawstring as you work, and you can pull as much as you need easily.
