I looked up how to get rid of a cricket in the basement and there was really good advice. Stella will hear it and should definitely go downstairs. Second it said to put molasses (which I have) in a jar with water. Place the jar on the floor and the cricket will be attracted to the sweet molasses and jump in and not be able to get out and die.
When I get home I will send stella down and put the jar.
she kills scary things.
