while discussing the improbability of me having my very own child, jess summed it up kinda-perfectly. it’s not as harsh as it sounds- the time i have to myself is my most prized (and fleeting) possession.
when i think about like “have a baby” or “construct the coolest craft studio in the world”- babies have no chance here. even “baby or huge bag of new yarn” is an easy one. baby or new wall mounted monitor? baby or spinning wheel? yep. that’s how this is gonna go.

Baby or falling asleep on the bus, baby or clipping my toenails. It’s exactly the same way for me

Honesty forces me to admit that I completely agree.

i, too, love me time. i am well aware that i am just too interested in doing things for me to be responsible for another dependent lifeform. besides, i’d rather go on vacation than have kids!
