the future of wireframing
very often in college, my design professors loved to tell us stories about the pre-photoshop days. about their intimate relationships with x-acto knives, making mockups on the photocopier and mastering that machine the way one masters a piece of software.
this makes me wonder if history is going to repeat itself with prototyping websites/applications. when wireframing software takes a greater focus and becomes ‘the way to do it’, will we tell the next generation what it was like when we used post it notes, grid paper and scissors?
