Bottom line: Justin Bieber = traffic. I fully intend to use this to my advantage, and none of you can do anything about it. The purpose of today’s video tutorial is to demonstrate how to use a scary set of words, “asynchronous recursion” to continuously display updated tweets about the great Biebster.

ready for more of this? i wrote two verizon execs, and they hooked me up with some executive tech support. it was pretty sweet. i had this lady calling me, and this dude, they escalated my case and finally got my account canceled. then they made me a new account, and told me i’d have service in two days! awesome, right?
no. not at all.

i made a tiny house for my bed
last weekend’s project:
i wanted a hanging canopy really badly, but can’t get NEAR my ceilings. the solution was to get an old sheet, nails, embroidery floss and these sweet S shaped bracket things. one side has the sheet nailed to the wall, the other has 3 points that were pinched, wrapped, and secured to the brackets on the opposite wall. oh and christmas lights. totally need...

i still do not have an internet connection in my home. verizon took a solid two weeks to figure out that they had assigned me the wrong data line number, which required my account to be shut down and reopened. the cancellation took a week and was STILL pending when i left off with them, so i told them to let the cancellation run through and not to contact me again.

just because you can, doesn't mean you should.
it’s gotten to the point where i will just instinctively click “lite version” on media (e.g. movie) websites just to have a less annoying, more logical browsing experience. these days it pretty much guarantees standard navigation, a non-morphing content area and real text!

bulletin boards!
so i got myself some cork board tiles, a yard of each of different fabrics, a bunch of ribbons and other dangly things, and busted out my hot glue:
i handle the corners like wrapping paper, but if they are messy, covering them with ribbons makes them look much spiffier.
