Less complaining, more wiki edits.
In my dashboard wanderings, I came across this article which consists of a rant about wikipedia. The author expresses his distaste at a computer science definition, and proceeds to give a better one… on his blog. I mean, if you’re going to go through that much trouble- edit the wikipedia entry! They make it open for revisions for a reason!

RE: tumblr theme contest
proposed at cubicle 17- i think this is an excellent idea! i would love to participate.
however, timing would have to be considered. if it ran in the middle of a semester (i.e in a couple of months) dropping all academic responsibilities for a weekend on a quest for the perfect tumblr theme might be detrimental ;(

I'm shooting from the hip here btw
Fwarg goes to a con one day and some guy asks her if he could "show her his source code"
She doesn't know what this means
and nik tries to explain it to her
angel is like "do you have his facebook"
then fwarg links it and angel is like "damn, he could see my source any day, if you know what I mean"
nik goes "ANGEL!!! stop being such a perv!"
fwarg is like "I'M CONFUSED! I THOUGHT YOU GUYS WERE DESIGNERS, NOT DEVELOPERS!"
cue laugh track.
LOL
hahaha oh wow
I'm ACTUALLY interested in this

they know me well
I mean, I'm not gonna lie, if she jumped on top of me and started undoing my belt, I wouldn't stop her, she's pretty cute.
But if you knew nik, you'd know that it'd be more likely for her to get hit by lightning, get super powers, and start fighting crime.

What are we?
In an article by 456 Berea Street, an interesting question is raised. Are we web designers, developers, architects?
Designer has been downplayed by WYSIWYG web creation, the crappy websites of the 90’s and irritating Myspace pages.
Development was previously associated with programming such as PHP and Javascript.
Architect just sounds snobby.
Below is my contribution to the...

My college just sent me an e-mail that stated “We blocked a spam e-mail for you!” Yes, just one. They even included the subject of it in their announcement.
Why are they telling me this? It feels as if they expect a reply that says “Good job, Montclair State University!”
Gmail catches 100+ spam emails a day, and they never feel the need to brag about it.

great resources and links from this website, lots of CSS stuff. however, it kind of defeats the beauty of a tumblelog to me- which is the specific attention paid to the stylings of various media types. every kind of post has the same formatting, in essence it’s just an easily updatable list of links.
