the other day at CVS, a woman who was clearly not in line cut to the front when a cashier called for the next person. this is a pretty irrelevant moment- but the cashier looked at me, and we both smiled. acknowledgment of the rude lady was made without a single sound, unnoticed by the rest of the patrons.
