when working on thumbnails and sketches for websites- i work in multiple (usually 3 or 4) colors of ink. since websites are interactive, the extra colors mean i can draw actions over a sketch without redrawing the whole thing. for example, a link hover or what a layout would look like with extra information. it also helps me separate my notes, and hell- its fun to draw in bright colors.
